Introduction

VEELER is an all-in-one solution to enjoy the hands-on experience of programming, electronics, and robotics. This easy-to-assemble robot provides infinite possibilities for you to learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). The kit comes pre-programmed to use it as an obstacle avoider robot or manual controlled robot. Users can use included USB cable and Arduino IDE to create different kinds of robots. The modular approach of this robot opens up infinite possibilities, only limited by your creativity.

Base Board Connections

Analog Pins A0-A3 These are used for analog input from external peripherals
Digital Pins D7-D8 Digital pins used to connect Ultrasonic Sensor
Digital Pins D2-D3 Digital/I2C pins to which I2C Module is connected
Motor 1 and Motor 2 2 pairs of motor are each connected to one channel
Power Jack Any external power source between 6v-9v can be connected
Power Connector Power from battery source is connected to this connector

Using Android Application

Android Application


  • Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile / tablet
  • Search and connect VEELERxxx module where xxx is a unique code for each robot. VEELER default password is set to 1234 or 0000
  • Once connected, open VEELER application and connect to your VEELER robot
  • If the connection is successful, VEELER control panel is ready to use
  • Use the joystick on the left to control direction of robot
  • Use buttons on the right to control RGB LED colour
  • The power buttons on the bottom-right are used to control the speed of robot
  • Use the buttons in the bottom-center to change robot modes between Manual and Autonomous modes


  • Each of these buttons can be manually changed and configured in the code as per your requirement

Using Infrared Remote Controller

IR Remote Control

For some reason, you dislike or cannot use android application, the robot can still be controlled using the included remote.

  • Turn on the robot using the Power button (Red Button)
  • Press 1 to activate manual mode
  • Press 2 for Autonomous Mode
  • Press 3 for line follower mode (The robot does not include IR sensors. You need to configure and program it according to your requirement)
  • Press Mute button to turn on or off the sound
  • Press Arrow keys to control the robot
  • Press 0 to turn on white light


  • Each of these buttons can be manually changed and configured in the code as per your requirement

Using the code

The code provided along with the robot is well commented. Each controls in a separate file helps you change the code as per your requirement and upload it. If thing go wrong, revert to the original code to start again. With so many peripherals, sensors and modules, your creativity is the limit.
