Analog Joystick - Dual Axis Module

This is a dual axis high quality JoyStick Module and can be used to sense movements in 2 directions(axes). It also has a built-in switch that can be activated by pressing the joystick. Directional movements are simply two potentiometers - one for each axis and each pot has a 10k resistor across.
With the help of this Joystick Module, you can measure position coordinates on the X and Y axis by moving the thumb cap, or also called the ""Hat"".
The X and Y axes with two 10k potentiometers can control 2D movement by generating analog signals. When connected, the pins can be connected to a microcontroller to read two analog values, representing the directions. This module uses the 5V power supply and the mid-value reads about 2.5V. Depending on the direction of movement, the value will increase or decrease between 0v to 5v.

Good to Know

• The joystick resistance is approx. upto 10k and may be a little less or more
