This force sensitive resistor (FSR) will vary its resistance depending on how much pressure is being applied on the sensing area. The harder the force, the lower the resistance. When no pressure is being applied, its resistance will be larger than 1MΩ, with full pressure applied the resistance will be approximately 2.5kΩ.
The sensor can be connected to any microcontroller using the two extended pins on the bottom of the sensor. It is also breadboard friendly with 0.1″ pitch. The sensor has varied applications in Testing and measuring equipments.
