Pulse Sensor is a low cost, small size a plug-and-play heart rate sensor that can be used to incorporate live heart-rate detection data. The module has amplification and noise cancellation circuitry to the hardware and is noticeably faster and easier to get reliable pulse readings.
The size is small enough to glue it to an Ear Clip and get reading from an ear lobe. It can also be connected to a finger using velcro or similar straps to get heart-rate data read from a finger.

The sensor outputs a digital value controlled by the pot as either 0 or 1. For greater accuracy and control, connect the analog output of this sensor to an analog input compatible microcontroller like an arduino
