Reed Switch Sensor Module (Magentic Switch)

Reed Switch Module (KY-025) is a small electrical switch operated by an applied magnetic field, commonly used as proximity sensor. The module has both digital and analog outputs. A trimmer is used to calibrate the sensitivity of the sensor. The switch is normally open and the output of the switch is fed into a LM393 dual differential comparator which outputs a digital voltage. The module is used in a variety of applications like control switches, copiers, washing machines, cameras, refrigerators, cabinets, door, window panes, electromagnetic relays, electronic weighing, level meter, etc.
