LM2596 Step Down Voltage Regulator

LM2596 is a step down power regulator which converts DC to DC voltage. It is adjustable in +1.23 to 35vdc and capable of handling load up to 3A, though the typical output is 2A. It is best suited for battery operated devices to provide regulated voltage.

This is an LM2596 DC-DC buck converter step-down power module with a high-precision potentiometer, capable of driving loads up to 3A with high efficiency. When the output current is greater than 2.5A (or output power greater than 10W), please add an additional (not included in the pack) heat sink to it. The module also has a Thermal shutdown and current limit protection. To adjust the module, first connect input power (between 4.5-50V) and use a multimeter to monitor the output voltage and adjust potentiometer (usually clockwise to boost and counterclockwise to buck)
